Nelson: Adopted by Lauretta
I got Nelson from Wellcat in May 2005. I chose him because he had had such a rough start. He had had cat flu when he was a kitten and because he was not taken to the vet, lost the sight in one eye.
He was flea-ridden and thin and I just had to have him. I promised him that he would never want for anything again. I have just lost Nelson after a short illness – he was only 4. I am devastated and miss his meowing and wailing so much. Thank you Wellcat for introducing us to each other and whilst I only had him for 3 years, I wouldn't have missed it for the world - Lauretta Wincott.
There are no new mature cats available for the moment, although we have plenty of feral cats that need a good home.
