Merrick: Adopted by Gail and Kieran
We'd love it if you could add Merrick to the After Wellcat page. Merrick came to live with us (Gail and Kieran) in Worcester on 3rd October 2004. She was quite quiet when I met her at the shelter and Pauline said she really needed her own place. She was absolutely right. We expected to wait days or weeks for her to settle in.
We were wrong! She couldn't wait to jump out of the carrier and explore the house from top to bottom. She's settled in as if she's always been here and likes nothing more than sitting in the sink to watch us brush our teeth.
She also loves to eat and play, and has got us both wrapped round her little finger and spoiling her rotten She's become quite outgoing and loves to meet new people when they come to visit. We think she must have had a loving home before her accident, and feel sorry for whoever lost her. Gail and Kieran.
There are no new mature cats available for the moment, although we have plenty of feral cats that need a good home.
