Mavro: Adopted by Martin and Clare
Rehomed in July 2002. When they visited Wellcat, they kept seeing this wee ball of black fur looking up at them. He followed them around and when Martin picked him up, he couldn't put him back down!! The wee ball of black fur is now much bigger and called Mavro (Greek for black).

He lives in Bretford (in the countryside outside Coventry), where he and the other cats spend ages charging up and down the garden and rolling in the catnip plants grown especially for them. Mavro always seems to get into trouble as he always jumps before he thinks. Martin & Clare love him to bits and he has a fantastic character.
If he wants more food or he doesn't like the flavour you've given him, he jumps up behind the food pouches and boxes and pushes them off the shelf one by one until you change his food!
There are no new mature cats available for the moment, although we have plenty of feral cats that need a good home.
