Lizzie: Adopted by Chris
Dear Pauline, I just wanted to let you know how Lizzie is doing, the 15 months old black and white cat aka Little Miss Runaway we adopted two months ago. After the slightly turbulent start with the tapeworm she settled in very nicely and now rules the house completely.
She is such an adorable, well behaved and gentle cat and she definitively has lost her taste for running away, as she's never gone from the house for more than 20 minutes. Her favourite pastimes are playing with me for hours (she is still very much a kitten in this respect) and helping me with the gardening.
If she can't do that, she's happy to sit on my desk staring into the garden while I work, or she sits on the sofa in the living room watching the road while we watch TV. You were totally right, she is the kind of cat who always wants to know what you're doing and "help" you with it, if possible. Thanks so much for bringing us together, we love her dearly. There are no new mature cats available for the moment, although we have plenty of feral cats that need a good home.
