Harper and Bowie: Adopted by Julie and Her Husband

After the death of our much loved cat Tiggy mid-2007 I gave my husband the task of finding us two old cats that need a loving home to see out their days. He came up with two ginger 'toms' (more on that in a minute) who were 13 and 10 - perfect! We initally only popped into Wellcat for a look but ended up bringing Jeremy and Jeffrey home with us.

Harper and Bowie

We renamed them Harper and Bowie after our favourite musicians. It took them quite a while to settle down in their new home but soon found the warmest places to curl up. After a bit of confusion we also discovered that Harper was a girl and probably the mom of Bowie. A few months ago they discovered the delights of the garden and love exploring, and within 3 days had brought home 2 'presents'.

Harper and Bowie

Very recently Bowie had to have some emergency dental treatment and has had most of his teeth removed due to infection but I'm pleased to say this hasn't curbed his appetite and he's doing really well now

Harper and Bowie

We think that they now consider this home and are happy here. They certainly give us lots of happiness. Thanks to everyone at Wellcat.

There are no new mature cats available for the moment, although we have plenty of feral cats that need a good home.
