Frankie and Merlin: Adopted by Clare and Kevin
Hi Pauline and everyone at Wellcat, we thought we would tell you how Frankie (Frank while he was with you)and Merlin are getting on. You kindly let us adopt THE BEAUTIFUL BIG BROTHERS on April 1st, 2008 after having a family discussion the day before when we came to see you.
They are truly wonderful cats and we even chose the 25th of May to celebrate their 1st birthday. No one believes us when we tell them they are only twelve months old because they are so big. They do love their food (especially fish, just like you told us they would) but we give them lots of activities to do and make sure they have plenty of exercise and our children love playing with them.
They have some super football skills when they are chasing their little balls around and Frankie loves to watch the rain from my bedroom window and tries to catch it. Merlin loves climbing on the top of my kitchen cupboards so he can see everyone outside through the window and they both chase each other up and down the stairs.
Even though we have only had them for a short while we couldn't imagine life without them so a great big thank you to you for allowing us to take care of Frankie and Merlin. There are no new mature cats available for the moment, although we have plenty of feral cats that need a good home.
