Cleo: Adopted by Louise and Mark
We adopted our cat - now named Cleo, in January this year. She had 'trimmed whiskers' and very short nails from her previous home, these are now virtually all grown back. Within days she made herself at home, dismissing our greyhound as a mere dog - to be ignored at all times, and claiming her space the biggest sofa.
She is very inquisitive and enjoys mad play sessions when she pulls herself along the backs of the sofas, charges upstairs - with the noise of an elephant and then returns to 'fight' with any arm that happens within her reach. A bit of a wimp when going outside - I think its the shock of coming from a city and finding herself with a large garden and rolling fields around - I am waiting for the warmer weather when she can accompany me when gardening. We love her to bits!! Love, Louise and Mark Newsome; Jessica (4) and Amy (14) Newsome, Saffy the greyhound and Cleo the cat!!!
There are no new mature cats available for the moment, although we have plenty of feral cats that need a good home.
