Bonnie and Clyde: Adopted by Simon and Marie
Hello Pauline and all at Wellcat. We had 'Boots' and 'Angel' from you about five weeks ago. They have been renamed Bonnie & Clyde! They certainly live up to their names!! Bonnie: Bonnie is the more friendly of the two cats, she likes to go to sleep on your lap and is always after food.
She is very vocal when she wants feeding!! When they first came home she didn't come out from under the bed for three days, then we found out why. She had decided to pull all her stiches out after being spayed, she had become all infected so a trip to the PDSA was needed £110!! she cost, we had only had her three days! All is well now and she was chipped last week.
She spents hours looking out the patio windows at the birds and squirrels but isn't to keen on going out into the garden yet. Clyde: Clyde doesn't seek as much attention as Bonnie, he likes to be fussed only when he is in the mood! He prefers to explore everywhere he can, he is into everything given the the chance. He loves the garden but is currently only allowed out with his lead on which doesn't like too much.
He likes to have play fights with us (I have the scratch marks as proof of him always winning!). He also spends alot of his time chasing his sister around the whole of the house, which can be very noisey as there is laminate flooring in most of the rooms. Clyde is obsessed with running tap water! he likes to have the tap turned on so he can have a drink, this also includes having the shower turned on for the same reason. When he has finally worn himself out he likes to curl up on the end of our bed.
Both cats like to sleep on the end of our bed at night. We are very pleased on how well our two additions to the family have setted in to their new home. It seems like we have had them much longer than we have and we love them both to bits!!!! I have attached some photographs for your website. Regards, Simon Rickers & Marie Mctoal.
Both cats regularly travel with us to our chalet on the shores of Loch Fyne in Scotland and enjoy running round in the grass and chasing rabbits. We watched earlier this year as Jack padded through a bank of Bluebells looking very happy with himself. Best Wishes, Dave & Eileen.
There are no new mature cats available for the moment, although we have plenty of feral cats that need a good home.
