Cute Cats in Search of a Home
Cats Left Homeless
"Fourteen cuddly cats are looking for a home after their owner died. The moggies - aged between five and fifteen - are now being cared for at the Wellcat Animal Rescue, in Quinton Road West, Quinton.
Their owner Hazel Faraday, 78, of The Uplands, Smethwick, died recently, leaving the cats homeless. Homeless along with seven dogs. The Jack Russels and collies have all now been rehomed thanks to Animals In Need. Mrs Faraday had taken in rescued cats and dogs for many years. "Hazel was a wonderful lady who just loved animals." said Pauline Beasley, who runs Wellcat. "But they are such lovely creatures and would make fantastic pets for their new owners." Anyone able to help is urged to call Wellcat on 0121 426 5594".
There are no new mature cats available for the moment, although we have plenty of feral cats that need a good home.
