Concorde's Diary: Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas to YOU Concorde!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all my fans. Sorry this instalment has been a while coming but you know how it is…busy busy busy!! You'll be pleased to hear that I'm still causing trouble…
few weeks ago, I ate something that I shouldn't have - must remember to stick to vermin in future - and I was a bit sick. I spent a lot of time in our "house" (an upturned dog bed with blankets in) which meant I had a few accidents which the humans didn't find until they put their hands in it. I pooped and threw up rather a lot so we have been "banished" to the back of the barns but we're MUCH happier here!! We have our very own hay pile - made up of the bales that I personally pooped on, our house and it's further away from the humans so it's much better. We don't see the humans much now because there are lots of rooms and hidey holes for us here. Occasionally, we will stare at them from between the big bales wrapped in black plastic - that scares them and is fun.
We're slowly getting on top of the rodent problem, there aren't so many mice pestering people now. But the golden retriever who belongs to one of the Humans is also doing a good job of catching them too - we've already swiped her one and told her to stop but she hasn't yet. Dad and I fancied a change the other night and caught a pigeon. Very nice it was too! The leftovers were left on show for the humans so they could see we're progressing to bigger vermin but they didn't seem to be very pleased - no pleasing some people!! We're not going outside much at the moment, we really have no need as everything we could want is here in the barns - but when the warmer weather comes, apparently there are lots of rabbits in the fields so we'll probably go and catch up with Hugo and Boss and share a rabbit or two!
Yours, Concorde.
There are no new mature cats available for the moment, although we have plenty of feral cats that need a good home.
